Frequently Asked Questions

Do we need an account to use YETO’s services?

You do not need an account; we can take payment at time of booking. You can also pay us using a retainer to avoid having to make multiple payments. Any unused retainer can be rolled over indefinitely and refunded at any time.

Do you offer credit?

Yes, with a YETO Business Account, we can extend interest-free credit for up to 30 calendar days subject to a credit check. You can apply for this online.

Does the YETO Business Account cost anything?

No. However there may be penalties if payments are late.

How long does it take to open a YETO Business Account?

The YETO Business Account is subject to a credit check and typically takes 2-3 working days to open.

What types of vehicles do you supply?

Please see Our Vehicles.

Do you offer LGVs and HGVs on a same day basis?

Possibly. We advise pre-booking larger vehicles one day before collection as we cannot guarantee availability on the day. Where this isn't possible, you can call or email us early on the day of collection, allow us 30-45 minutes to check what vehicles we have in your area that aren't already booked and in most cases we should still be able to facilitate. As mentioned, there is a chance that we may not have availability for a same day booking, so booking a day before is advised to avoid disappointment.

What payment methods do you accept?

We accept payments via direct bank transfer.

We also accept payment from the following cards (businesses will pay an additional 3% surcharge when paying by card):

  • Visa / Delta / Electron

  • MasterCard / Eurocard

  • Maestro

  • American Express

In addition to individual invoices, do you also issue statements?

Yes, these can be requested at anytime. They will detail all outstanding invoices and a breakdown of when payments are due. If payments are late the statements will include any late charges that have been accrued.

I want to pick up from and drop off to multiple destinations, can this be done?

Yes this can be done; you will just need to let us know the full postcodes of the destinations along with any specific drop order you require. Alternatively, we can plan the most efficient route for you.

Are my goods insured?

In addition to Mandatory Public Liability Insurance we also have Goods In Transit insurance which insures cargo for the industry standard  £1,300 per tonne prescribed by the Road Haulage Association. As per the RHA conditions of carriage (see footer) our liability is limited to £1,300 per tonne. If you require more goods in transit cover or would like more information about protecting your cargo, please give us a call.

This is our first time using a logistics supplier, can you help us understand how things work and what vehicles we need?

Yes. We aim to make things as easy as possible for you. Some companies know what vehicles they need, and others don't. We can take responsibility for supplying the correct vehicles and explain your options, all we ask is that you provide us with information such as the dimensions and weight of the load, how the goods will be loaded / unloaded and the type of cargo being.
